Ahmedabad Cyber crime Cell on 30th July 2021 arrested 26-year- old Faisal Pathan from Sorsala of Maharashtra for allegedly uploading objectionable posts agasint Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani in April last year.
According to top sources of Ahmedabad Cyber Cell, Pathan a mobile shop owner, in April last year had uploaded posts on various social media platforms mentioning that Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani is down with Covid and had also posted some objectionable posts along with that.”At that time CM Vijay Rupani was not infected with Covid -19. We had lodged a complaint at that time and asked for the IP log address of the device from which such posts were uploaded” said a senior cyber crime cell official.Cyber Crime Cell officials said on provided with the IP log address they reached Sorsala and detained Pathan.
“During primary interrogation Pathan confessed before us that he had uploaded the posts agasint Gujarat CM” added a Cyber Crime official.
