Made from Donkey’s milk, Serbian cheese costs around Rs 70,000 for 1 Kg of cheese. This paneer is fluffy and delicious and said to be the most expensive and tasty cheese around the world.
But what makes this cheese so expensive?
Well, priced at Rs 70,000 for 1 kilogram, this delectable cheese is produced at one of Serbia’s most famous natural reserves called Zasavica. The cheese made from donkey’s milk is also known as Pule. According to a report published in the Daily Male, it is found that around 25 liters of fresh Donkey milk is used in the processing of only 1 kilogram of this cheese, which makes it as expensive as it is.
Studies reveal that donkey milk is filled with protein, and the milk is said to reduce stomach issues caused by viruses and bacteria. Cheese made from this milk is also good for bones and aids in growth of good bacteria and maintaining gut health. Cheese connoisseurs swear by the taste of this soft delicacy.
