In a prevalent video uploaded by Pakistani YouTuber Sana Amjad, a fellow Pakistani is heard complaining about the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif government’s handling of the nation’s current situation and asserting that they would have also been able to purchase goods at fair prices if Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been in charge.
A former journalist, Sana Amjad had stints with numerous Pakistani media houses. The local reacts by saying, he wishes, he hadn’t been born in Pakistan when she asks him why the slogan “Pakistan se zinda bhago chahe India chale jaao” (Run for your life away from Pakistan, even if it means taking sanctuary in India) was being hoisted on the streets.
The local claimed that he wishes the Partition hadn’t taken place since he and his fellow citizens would have been able to buy necessities at fair costs and feed their children every night.
“I wish Pakistan wasn’t separated from India. We would then be purchasing tomatoes at PKR 20/kg, chicken for PKR 150/kg, and petrol at PKR 50 per litre,” he said in the viral video.”It is unfortunate that we got an Islamist nation but we could not establish Islam here,” he further added.
