“I am committed to work for the masses. Yes, no jail or punishment can stop me or change my commitment,” Kajal Hindustani, the Right Wing activist who was jailed for her hate speech in Una, told the media minutes after she was released from prison.
Kajal Shingala alias Kajal Hindustani was arrested on April 9 for alleged hate speech on Ram Navami, which led to communal riots in Una. She was granted bail on April 13 by a sessions court in Gir Somnath district.
After coming out of jail, she said her commitment to work for love jihad, land jihad and other related issues will continue in “full form” and there is no prison that can stop her from working for the masses.
Scores of supporters chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogans as Kajal emerged from jail. She was taken to her residence under tight police security. On the way to her house, she was showered with petals even as she displayed no signs of lowering her rhetoric.
