On the occasion of Gujarat Day on May 1, Sunday, Vibes OF India hosted there 5th edition Vo! adda to learn about “what is that one thing that they love about Gujarat?”
Gujarat Day is celebrated on May 1 to mark the establishment of Gujarat as a separate state in 1960. The territory of Gujarat and Maharashtra were carved out from the huge province of erstwhile Bombay state in 1960. Since then, May 1 is celebrated in both the states with great zeal and enthusiasm.
In VO! Adda’s 5th episode Natasha got some interesting answers, the one sure reply binding all Amdavadis was “food.” Not only the indigenous Gujju cuisine, but the city is known as much for its readily accepting palate.
“Gujjus are most welcoming of other people. The way we absorb different identities is not seen elsewhere. We girls feel much safer in Gujarat,” shared a group of examinees just out from the centre.
