The former India captain Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma spotted visiting ISKCON Temple in London. According to the sources, Kohli travelled to London to celebrate his team’s feat with his wife and kids following India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024.
A video of Virat and Anushka attending a kirtan at the ISKCON Temple is making the rounds on social media. But the same video was also shared on social media in June last year. Anushka sported a plain white suit whereas, Virat opted for a casual look with a black t-shirt and beige pants.
The video comes at a time when fans suspect Virat and Anushka have permanently shifted to London with their kids, Vamika and Akaay to live a ‘normal’ life. This speculation comes especially because Anushka and Virat have often been spotted in London. Recently too, Virat landed in the city after the T20 World Cup win celebrations in India.
In 2023, Virat even took a break from his hectic schedule and spent some time with Anushka in London. Back then, a photo of the couple went viral which featured Anushka and Virat outside a restaurant in London. Virat was also seen with Vamika at a restaurant in London, days after Akaay’s birth was announced.
Not just this, Anushka Sharma reportedly spent several months of her pregnancy in London, away from the limelight. This led to the belief that Akaay was born in London. This turn of events has fans guessing that Anushka and Virat are setting up a new nest in London and might move there permanently after Virat retires from all formats. The former Indian captain recently announced his retirement from the International T20 format.
However, Anushka and Virat are yet to address these rumours and have not issued any official statement as of now.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress. It is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks her comeback to film after six years. She was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix. However, its release date has not been announced as of now.
