A few days back, Deputy CM Nitin Patel had spoken to Sufis about the ban on alcohol in Gujarat and told media that alcohol will be banned in Gujarat and bootleggers would not be spared. This video proves how the police themselves encourage bootleggers to sell alcohol.
A video of a bootlegger from Vadodara has gone viral on social media. The video is of Vadodara-based bootlegger Hussain. He claims in the video that he was given permission by the police to sell liquor in Vadodara and that, he is supported by the police officials and few others in doing so.
In the video, Hussain is seen saying that nobody should get tensed when buying liquor from him. He will deliver the brands to one’s doorstep. “Pankajbhai of Vadodara Police, PI Vanraj Bhai, Chandubhai and I started this liquor business together. Nobody should get tensed or scared when ordering liquor from me. I will sell quarters at Rs 150, beer for Rs 200 and Signature whiskey for Rs 1500,” Hussain said in his video.
We have handed over the case to the police so that no allegation is made against them. Apart from this, the bootlegger from Karelibaug, Vadodara, has also claimed in this video that the police are with Hussain and one need not get scared. Hussain is also seen sharing his mobile number in the video. Hussain also explains how he is now fed up with providing alcohol cases to the police, only for the sake of receiving a permit to supply or sell liquor. “Thankfully, Tarun Bhai and PI saheb have permitted me. PI saheb’s cut with this liquor sale is decided at 50 per cent,” Hussain said in his video.
After this viral video, now Vadodara police and government are taking action against this bootlegger and responsible police personnel. While the law will take its own time to act, this viral video by Hussain the bootlegger has surely unearthed the involvement of the government and police in illegal sales of liquor in Gujarat.
