Vibes of India is all of six months but has made promising progress. We are pleased to announce that our news portal has got more than 8,00,000 visitors and we are confident of reaching the million mark by March end.
We have stumbled but we have grown, broken records and set new milestones.
2022 is a very important year for us. Our news operations are controlled from our headquarters in Gujarat. Therefore, any journalist across the world can very well understand how vigorously we are proving that journalism is not a crime. Our parent company Virago Media Pvt Ltd and we at Vibes of India have a motto. #OnlyTheTruth.
You will be happy to know we have a full- fledged network in all the 33 districts of Gujarat and we are the only digital media working at this this scale in the state. We offer news in English, Gujarati and Hindi and we are sharply focused on Gujarat, Business, Diaspora, politics and polity. We work like a family and have more than 72 people associated with us in various capacities.
With utmost professionalism, equality and integrity we aim to bring the best stories to you. We believe in investing in high quality, non partisan journalism. If our story does not pinch someone, it means we are doing public relations and this is definitely not in our scheme of things.
Gujaratis are known for their business acumen. We can say with conviction that we are the only digital venture which provides a platform for start- up and is close to the first million mark.
As an Editor with Ahmedabad Mirror, I have seen how print as the first medium of news consumption has nose-dived. We are soon beginning newsletters and many exciting and interesting collaborations. Since the last two years have been dominated by health concerns, we are all set to bring forth a great health challenge for you. This will be steered by none other than the Indian icon Sapna Vyas.

In my 31 year long association with various media houses including The Times of India, The Indian Express, The Asian Age, Loksatta, Jansatta, Sambhaav Group, Abhiyaan Mumbai Mirror and Ahmedabad Mirror, I have been a first-hand witness to great journalism. Sadly, over the years, all of have witnessed the erosion of professional standards of journalism. We have also seen how political parties have ruined India’s otherwise vibrant media environment.
We promise you that we will continue to remain modest, professional and basically good. We will strive our best to remain good and kind. The World needs it the most today. At times, we may be constrained by resources but let me assure you, our vision, mission and hard work will overpower that too.

Vibes of India has been started with the aim of being a strong, independent, non- partisan and editorially independent media publication. Our aim is to ensure that good journalism not just survives but thrives in Gujarat. We are committed to public interest. Having said this, we must clarify that we are not activists. For us, the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress, the Bhartiya Janata Party, the Trinamool Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party all remain the same: political parties. Rather than being branded as activists, we would like to accommodate all shades of journalism rather than black, white, grey, blue, saffron or green. Democracy remains our fundamental right. But we will not be obsessed with any political party or vision. Instead, we will be an authoritative voice on everything right and wrong, without any bias or pre conceived notions. In a democracy, the power of the public and its collective wisdom cannot be undermined.
