Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Baby John, has been soaking in the cultural and culinary delights of Gujarat during the film’s promotional tour.
On Thursday, the actor shared a glimpse of his experience on Instagram, posting pictures and videos from the promotional events. In the snapshots, Varun is seen savouring a traditional Gujarati thali alongside his co-star Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays the female lead in the film. Another image captures the duo posing on a picturesque bridge.
A video shared by the actor shows him riding a classic motorbike, with a young girl seated in front of him, as he rides on a ramp. Adding a touch of local flavour to his post, Varun captioned the content:
“Gujarati thali to atal bridge majja aavi gayi!! 6 days left see u on Christmas #babyjohn.”
Varun has been in a playful mood during the film’s promotional events. In a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma show, he teased his co-star Keerthy Suresh, referring to her recent marriage. “Our new bride has come to Mumbai. I don’t want to be the only married actor. Now we both are. Congratulations,” he quipped.
Meanwhile, Varun also made headlines recently for his comments in support of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, following the latter’s controversial arrest in Hyderabad. A video surfaced online showing Varun addressing the unfortunate stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre, where Allu Arjun was allegedly taken in for questioning by the police.
Varun defended Allu Arjun, suggesting that the Pushpa 2: The Rule star should not be held solely responsible for the mishap. The Telugu actor expressed his discontent with the police’s conduct, particularly their reported intrusion into his bedroom, labelling it as a breach of his privacy.
Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi, is slated to release on Christmas Day, promising fans a festive cinematic treat.
