Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the gathering in ‘Utkarsh Samaroh’ at Bharuch on Thursday, May 12. In the Sarvodaya program, Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, and CR Paatil, Gujarat State President of the BJP, were also present. PM Modi pledged to ensure the nourishment of the country’s children. Bharuch MP Mansukhbhai Vasava with Nayak Dandak and Dushyantbhai Patel, Minister for Women and Child Welfare, also graced the event.
The people of Bharuch welcomed PM Modi with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. He was felicitated virtually by Pradip Parmar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. District President Marutisinhji Atodaria, Former MP Ishwar Patel, District Incharge Janakbhai Patel (Bagdana), District General Secretary Niralbhai Patel, and other leaders were also on the dais during the event.
Utkarsh Samaroh
‘Utkarsh Samaroh’ marked the celebration of 100% saturation of four key state government schemes in Gujarat’s districts. The objective of these schemes is to provide financial assistance to those in need. Later, PM Modi congratulated the Bharuch district and Gujarat government for the 100% saturation of the social security schemes.
Narendra Modi also interacted with the women beneficiaries of the social security schemes. He inquired about the difficulties faced by the women and made various suggestions for their betterment. A group of old-age widows presented a ‘Rakhi’ to the Prime Minister of India.
Bharuch administration carried out the ‘Utkarsh Initiative’ to offer financial support to senior citizens or destitute residents. According to data, the total beneficiaries for the scheme are 12,854. The four policies under the initiative include Ganga Swaroopa Aarthik Sahay Yojana, Indira Gandhi Vrudh Sahay Yojana, Niradhar Vrudh Aarthik Sahay Yojana, and Rashtriya Kutumb Sahay Yojana. In addition to this, the Bharuch administration held Utkarsh camps in all villages and wards of the Bharuch’s municipality areas.
