The United States has been hit hard once again by Covid Crisis and more than 25,000 Americans are currently admitted to the ICU. The highest number of Americans have been admitted to the ICU since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic.
According to the latest figures, there are 1.49 lakh new cases of Covid-19 in the United States. The average number of cases is 1.54 lakh. In addition, 98,674 Americans are currently being treated in hospitals, which is 2,931 more than the previous figure.
Not only that, the number of American covid patients admitted in ICU is 25,034. The number of patients in the ICU is now 1343 more than the previous peak. A further 1343 patient deaths have been reported due to covid in the United States.
Cases are on the rise in 42 US states, the lowest figure in six weeks. But the death toll has risen in 43 states. This is the worst number since December. A total of 5,400 people were killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the 9/11 terrorist attacks, while 7,225 people died in America due to corona in the week ending on Monday.
