UPSC Introduces One Time Registration Form To Save 70% Info…

| Updated: August 23, 2022 17:00

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has availed the One Time Registration (OTR) form at their official portals, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. This service will cut short the time time taken by a candidate to complete their application forms into half.

Candidates can also save their personal information and other facts on the UPSC website. It will also preserve them from having to fill out their basic personal information again for any future exams that the UPSC will be holding. Additionally, it will ensure no grammatical or factual errors when applicants fill out forms for numerous openings or exams.

“Since about 70% information of an aspirant in the OTR will automatically pre-populate in the online application form of an Examination, the time for filling/submitting an online application form will reduce considerably,” the official notification on the UPSC website read.

Aspirants must immediately register themselves on the OTR platform by providing their basic personal information, which the Commission’s servers will maintain securely once completed. Therefore, the aspirant’s information will immediately fill in the online application form for the exam for which she/he applies the next time when the applicant decides to apply for any vacancy or exam.
