Due to the rising water level of rivers in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government has issued an alert asking all concerned officials to keep a close watch on the situation. The water level of Ganga and Yamuna is fast approaching the danger mark (84.73 metres) in Prayagraj and the flood situation in low-lying areas is getting serious.
