He emphasized the importance of preserving heritage alongside promoting development, citing the newly constructed Valinath Mahadev temple as an example.
Modi reiterated his commitment to holistic development, stressing that progress cannot be achieved if any part of the nation lags behind. In a strategic move aimed at reaching out to southern states, he highlighted the impending delimitation exercise, emphasizing the need for unity and collective thinking beyond regional interests.
Asserting his dedication to federalism, Modi recalled his experiences as Chief Minister of Gujarat and the challenges faced in dealing with the UPA government. Despite obstacles, he emphasized the importance of states’ development for the nation’s progress and advocated for competitive yet cooperative federalism.
Reflecting on the collaborative efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, Modi praised the collective response of states and the Centre in tackling the crisis. He also emphasized decentralization in hosting international events, showcasing the diversity and richness of India beyond Delhi.
In conclusion, Modi’s address in Mehsana highlighted his vision for inclusive development, unity, and the promotion of India’s cultural heritage on a global stage.
