Two Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets crashed in the Pahadgarh region of Morena in Madhya Pradesh. Morena additional superintendent of police Rai Singh Narwariya said, “An air force team is reaching the spot to confirm about the plane and number of people present in it. Police found a hand near the plane.”
According to media outlets quoting defence sources, the crash involved a Sukhoi-30 and a Mirage 2000 aircraft. From the Madhya Pradesh air base near Gwalior, where an exercise was taking place, the two planes took off.
To determine if there was a mid-air collision or not, the IAF court ordered a probe for the precise cause. During the crash, the Su-30 had two pilots while the Mirage 2000 only had one.
According to early indications, two pilots are unharmed, and an IAF helicopter is en route to the third pilot’s location, according to defence sources.
