The trailer opens with Kareena Kapoor narrating to her son the story of Ram’s battle to rescue Sita from Sri Lanka. When her son questions whether his father would do something equally heroic, Ajay Devgn’s character responds, “Google ‘Bajirao Singham’ and you’ll find out who your father is.” The plot centres on the abduction of Kareena Kapoor’s character by Arjun Kapoor’s villain, with Ajay Devgn’s Singham determined to rescue her. He is joined in his mission by Simmba (Ranveer Singh), Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar), Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone) and Tiger Shroff, promising a thrilling ride as they unite to take down the enemy.
The film is expected to be a major Diwali release, but it will face competition from Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also dropped its trailer today in Jaipur. With both films aiming to dominate the box office, it remains to be seen which will emerge victorious this festive season.
