The Forest Department takes action against three poachers who came there to hunt peafowl in a small village named Wahiyal of Dharampur, Valsad.
One of the hunters pointed a gun at the Forest Department employee who fired a gun in the air in order to defend himself. The hunted peahen in their possession was found dead. The hunters also carried a sniper rifle belonging to the National Bird Schedule.
