Mohammad Shah Faisal Nazirhasan, was robbed by four men, namely Rutivik Rathore, Sonu Tiwari, Prakash Mehariya, and Santush Maurya, who pretended to be customs officials. The complainant narrated that he came to the city on 7 June at about 3.10 A.M . He came out of the airport after being done with all the formalities. His bag consists of dry fruits, a 100g gold bar and a few phones. He carried another containing gift articles.
So, carrying the two above-mentioned bags, he was in search of an autorickshaw when he was stopped by three men, two of them containing wireless sets. They claimed to be customs officers and then took away the mobile phone and gold bar that he was carrying.
Nazirhasand shared that three men also went through the purse of his friend Artbul Ahad and took away 20,000 of his money. When Artul tried to question their actions, they threatened to file a case of imprisonment against him. Petrified, both men agreed to their demands and left the place as soon as possible without reporting the strange happenings to the police.
A while later, Nazirhasand went to the authorities, identified the four accused from the airport’s CCTV footage and filed a complaint. The four were arrested successfully under IPC sections 392 (robbery), 170 (impersonating a public servant)and 114 (abettor present when an offense is committed).
