Taylor Swift Announces New ‘Eras’ Tour Book

| Updated: October 15, 2024 20:22

Taylor Swift has revealed new ways to capitalise on her record-breaking “Eras” tour, announcing the launch of a book documenting her performances around the globe. The singer is set to release this exclusive tome at Target for Black Friday, alongside a CD and vinyl edition of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.

In an announcement posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Swift confirmed she is heading into the final leg of her “Eras” tour, which she described as “the most wondrous experience,” with a new project in tow. She expressed her desire to commemorate the special memories created during the tour, stating, “I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way.”

According to Swift, the “Eras” tour book will provide fans with an insider’s view into her “magical memories” from the road, featuring never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photographs, personal reflections and more. The book will comprise 256 pages of content and is priced at $39.99.

In addition, the announcement of another vinyl edition comes as no surprise, given Swift’s established practice of releasing various versions of her albums for collectors. While TTPD already had a vinyl version, the upcoming Anthology edition will be an extended version of her 11th studio album and will feature four acoustic bonus tracks across four marbled vinyl records.

This new release follows Swift being named the world’s richest female musician. As reported by TMZ, she has surpassed Rihanna on Forbes’ billionaires list, boasting an impressive net worth of $1.6 billion. Swift is expected to maintain her position on the prestigious list, which also includes the likes of Beyoncé, Madonna and Dolly Parton.

The “Cruel Summer” singer is set to rake in even more revenue as her “Eras” tour, which first launched in March 2023, returns this weekend for three sold-out performances in Miami. Following these shows, she will continue on to New Orleans, Indianapolis and Toronto before concluding the tour in Vancouver in December.
