Jitendra Solanki, a sanitation worker, found gold worth Rs 38 lakh discovered in the toilet of Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel International Airport. Solanki has demonstrated integrity by returning the gold to the Customs Department.
Jitendra Solanki, works at Sardar Patel International Airport’s Terminal 2. Meanwhile, when a tourist sitting in the toilet summoned him for cleaning, he arrived and began cleaning other areas, including the toilet, but he noticed a parcel wrapped in cello tape in the meantime.
This surprised him, and he immediately informed his boss.The supervisor arrived and immediately notified the customs officers.Customs officials opened the parcel and found 696 grams of gold biscuits with a market value of around Rs 38 lakh.
Airport officials felicitate Jitendra Solanki. However, someone had hidden the gold. Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched in this regard.
