The police have arrested 15 fake doctors from the Pandesara area in Surat, Gujarat, who were practising allopathic medicine without legitimate qualifications.
Additionally, a batch of medicines was confiscated from their clinics by the police.
As part of an operation, the Pandesara police initially gathered information about these fraudulent doctors by sending undercover patients to their clinics.
Subsequently, in coordination with the district health department, the police raided the premises of these 15 doctors. During the raid, medical supplies worth Rs 59,000 were seized, including a variety of medicines, injections and syrups from the fake practitioners.
The arrested individuals include Rajesh Bansilal Patel, Manoj Sukhebendra Mishra, Rajkumar Sohanlal Gupta, Omkarnath Ramprasad Karndhar, Mukesh Kamalakant Hajra, Vijay Babulal Yadav, Pramod Amrej Morya, Ranjit Paras Verma, Yogesh Madan Patil, Asit Akhil Roy, Chandrabhan Kedarnath Patel, Brajbhushan Tarakeswarsing Ravani, Rajaram Keshavprasad Dubey, Pradeep Motila Pandey and Rajnarayan Sribansi Yadav.
