The Hindi film, which is a sequel to 2018’s Stree, is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films’ Dinesh Vijan.
On its X account, the production banner displayed the most recent Stree 2 box office results.
“Stree 2 shatters records with a LEGENDARY and HIGHEST ever 2nd Saturday in history. Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support. Book your tickets now,” the post read.
Maddock Films reports that the movie has made around Rs 505 crore in total revenue, with Rs 426 crore earned in India and Rs 78.5 crore earned globally.
The producers stated that the film’s domestic net box office collections were Rs 361 crore.
Following its August 15 release, Stree 2 had faced competition at the box office from Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa, which starred Sharvari and John Abraham, as well as Mudassar Aziz’s Khel Khel Mein, which starred Akshay Kumar. Yet, Stree 2 ended up making the most revenue of all three films.
