SpiceJet’s flight SG8193 from Delhi to Ahmedabad has been experiencing significant delays since last Saturday, causing frustration among passengers.
The flight, scheduled to depart at 10:05 PM on Saturday, was delayed for over seven hours. It eventually took off at 6:08 AM the next morning and arrived at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport at 7:18 AM.
On Sunday, the flight faced another delay of 2 hours and 33 minutes. The flight scheduled for departure on July 14th finally took off at 1:08 AM today and landed at SVPI at 2:23 AM.
Today, the flight is delayed by approximately four hours, now scheduled to depart at 2 AM on Tuesday instead of the originally planned 10 PM departure.
Passengers have expressed their frustration over the prolonged delays. One passenger took to social media platform X to criticize the airline’s service, tagging SpiceJet and the Civil Aviation Ministry. The user wrote, “SG8193 Del to Ahmedabad Worst flight experience received last Saturday from SpiceJet. The flight schedule was changing every half an hour from 10 PM to 5 AM and the flight departed at 6 AM from Delhi to Ahmedabad. People were stranded the whole night.”
