Hardik Pandya has been making news since his re-entry to the Mumbai Indian franchise this IPL season, replacing the veteran Rohit Sharma as skipper, after migrating from his impactful stint with home team Gujarat Titans.
But it was a forgetful outing for the flamboyant all-rounder as MI became the first team to be knocked out of the playoff race. Certainly, these are tough times for Pandya, with rumour mills now abuzz with speculations of his separation with wife Natasa.
According to rumours, Hardik may have parted ways with his wife, Natasa Stankovic. This is not the first time that Hardik has been targeted on social media, as back in 2021, there were rumours that the Customs Department of Mumbai had seized two wristwatches worth Rs 5 crore from Pandya at the airport for allegedly not having the correct receipt of the watches. As soon as the news broke on the net, Pandya was trolled vehemently on social media, and finally he had to issue a statement to clarify what really happened at the airport.
Now, a Reddit post – ‘Natasa and Hardik separated?’ – is grabbing attention. An user posted that Natasa and Hardik were not sharing each other’s stories on Instagram and that the Serbian model, who was going by the username ‘Natasa Stankovic Pandya’, had now changed it to ‘Natasa Stankovic’.
Meanwhile, a Redditor posted, “This is just a speculation. But both of them aren’t posting each other on stories (Instagram Stories). Earlier, Natasa used to have Natasa Stankovic Pandya on her Instagram, but now she completely removed his name.
The post also added, “Her birthday was on 4th March, and there was no post from Hardik on that day; she also removed all recent posts of her and Hardik except the one where Agastya was with them. Also, she isn’t seen in stands this IPL or post stories regarding the team. While Krunal and Pankhuri still comment on her posts, but something is definitely off between both of them.”
Though the troll army is in full swing, Natasa has not removed any pictures with Hardik Pandya, and she has also attended some IPL matches this season to support her husband’s team.
The most obvious reason could be that Natasa hasn’t been quite active on social media, which has fuelled all these speculations. Pandya had already received a lot of flak even before the season commenced when he returned to MI and took over as team captain, replacing Rohit. MI managed only four wins out of 14 games in Pandya’s debut season as captain.
Things might just turnaround quickly for the hugely talented all-rounder, as he is the vice captain of the Indian cricket team in the upcoming T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies and a couple of good performances would immediately put him in the good books of fans.
