It is raining heavily in most parts of Gujarat. The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains in South Gujarat on June 24 and 25. Heavy rain has hit Valsad, Umarpada, and Ambaji today. Farmers in the diocese have been happy with the excellent onset of rains.
It has also rained heavily in rural Surat. Heavy rains lashed Kamaraj, Bardoli, Olpad, and Mangrol Umarpada, which resulted in flooding of the Kamaraj service road. After a break of a few days in the Dang district, heavy rains have lashed the surrounding areas, including Waghai Ahwa. Heavy rains have flooded many places, submerging low-level causeways. Afternoon drizzle, the atmosphere is chilly. Heavy thunderstorms and heavy rains lashed the entire district.
Farmers in South Gujarat have been happy with good rains at the beginning of the monsoon. If we talk about the entirety of Gujarat, rain has reached Umarpada, Valsad, Surat, Tapi, and Dang. In Umarpada taluka, people have been released from the heat as soon as the rainfall occurs. The downpour started in the morning in the taluka, and the first season’s rain fell with the whistling of the wind. The monsoon arrived in areas including Kevadi, Charani, and Tabda. Only this one taluka of rural Surat was yet to receive rain, and it finally rained there too!
