Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated that some people are determined to damage his reputation and are working together with others both inside and outside of the country. They have even given them a “supari” (contract) to do so.
After flagging off the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express train, he was addressing a gathering at the Rani Kamalapati railway station.
“Earlier, governments were busy in vote bank appeasement but we are busy satisfying people,” he said.
“They (the previous governments) considered one family as the first family of the country and ignored the poor and middle class. Railways is a living example of this,” he added.
He claimed that some individuals are working both internally and externally to damage his reputation. The prime minister said: “They gave a “supari” for it.”
