- Generations of Ashtanayika 1.0
The storyteller from one part of the stage will explain the shlokas of the respective Nayikas mentioned in the Natyashastra followed by the contemporary stories of Nayikas. And on the other side the tranquillity and emotions of Nayikas will be performed through Bharatnatyam contemporary dance and drama.
‘Generations of AshtaNayika 1.0’ – Theatre of Stories (Ashta – 8 in Sanskrit Nayika – Female protagonist) is adopted from Natyashastra (a Sanskrit treatise on the performing arts written by Bharat Muni)
