| Updated: December 26, 2024 20:16

Six individuals, arrested for trespassing into the residence of prominent Telugu actor Allu Arjun and committing acts of vandalism, are students undertaking PhDs, postgraduate studies, and other courses.

These people, claiming to be from the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC), are accused of breaking flower pots and throwing tomatoes at Arjun’s house on the evening of December 22 in an attempt to get justice for the woman who died in the Pushpa-2 screening stampede.

According to the police remand report, the accused went to Arjun’s residence, broke in, assaulted the security personnel, and caused property damage.

Two of them are enrolled in MA courses, while two more are pursuing PhDs, according to the investigation.

One of the accused is the state secretary of NSUI, while three others occupy various positions inside the OU-JAC.
