Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Punjabi singer-actress and former Bigg Boss 13 contestant launched her song, “Tu Yaheen Hai” which is said to be a musical tribute to her close friend and rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukal. The video showed Shehnaaz living a lonely life in a foreign country after Sidharth’s death. It also features several images and clips from showing glimpses of Sidharth from Bigg Boss 13.
While the social media showed immense love and blessings to the rumored couple and nicknamed them as “Sidnaaz”, the sudden demise of Sidhart shocked the whole country.
As messages came pouring in, many fans over social media showed support to Shehnaaz Gill in her tough times. With the release of the song and bringing back the fond memories of the couple from Bigg Boss, the video has reached over 4.5 million views within 6 hours. She is said to be the first Indian YouTuber to have reached 4.5 million views with over 1 million subscribers.
Many of the fans commented on the song with crying and heart emojis.
Ever since Sidharth Shukla’s death on September 2, Shehnaaz has kept herself away from social media. However, earlier this month, she resumed her work. Announcement of the video, “Tu Yaheen Hai” was her first post since Shukla’s demise.
Both Sidharth and Shehnaaz first met on the show of Bigg Boss 13 and eventually came close to each other. After the show ended, they both appeared in many video videos including Bhula Dunga, Shona Shona and Habit.
