Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are now officially married. The couple shared their first photos together after their marriage, and their joyful photos made everyone happy. In their newlywed post, Sid and Kiara declared that they are “permanently booked” for each other.
The couple will now host two receptions, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. After the wedding, both Sid and Kiara will return to work in February.
For the wedding, Kiara wore a faded rose pink lehenga, a blouse with a sweetheart neckline that matched, and a pink dupatta with a golden and pink border. Real Swarovski crystals and intricate embroidery detailing of Roman architecture were used in Manish Malhotra’s ensemble, which the designer said was “inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes.”
Kiara added a maang tikka, stud earrings, a large Malhotra diamond and emerald choker, and bangles to her accessories. He described it as “the exquisite composition of ultra-fine hand-cut diamonds crafted with rare Zambian emeralds” on Instagram. Little makeup and a tidy bun in her hair helped the actress complete her look.
Sidharth, on the other hand, looked good next to her in a sherwani with intricate metallic gold embroidery, matching pajamas, and a saafa. The designer claims, “The sherwani is handcrafted with the utmost finesse and features our classic signatures, hints of ivory threadwork, gold zardozi, and badla work.”. His outfit was finished off by polki jewelry that featured incredibly fine uncut diamonds.
Last year, they appeared on episodes of Koffee with Karan Season 7 and revealed their relationship for the first time. While Kiara said that they are “more than close friends”, Sidharth said, “I am manifesting a brighter and happier future. If it was her, it would be great.”
The couple started dating after meeting on the sets of Shershaah. They are reportedly in talks for a movie together as well, but details are yet to be worked out.
Sid and Kiara got married at the stunning Suryagarh palace in Jaisalmer. With gorgeous clothes by Manish Malhotra, who reportedly created 150 outfits for the happy couple, and, of course, parivar story.
In addition, Karan Johar, who arrived at the venue a few days ago, choreographed the elaborate sangeet, as he usually does, and the internet will be flooded with carefully directed “candid” photos of the newlywed couple.
Sid and Kiara will reportedly host their Mumbai reception on 12th where media will also be invited. The couple hosted their wedding festivities from 5th to 7th and went all desi.
