Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, has delivered another hit with Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film, which released on December 1, is a dark and violent story of a son’s obsession with his father. Ranbir plays Vijay, a ruthless anti-hero who kills hundreds of people with a machine gun to save his father.
Animal has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, with some praising its bold and unconventional storytelling, and others slamming it for its portrayal of misogyny and toxic masculinity. Vanga, however, has defended his film and lashed out at the critics who he accused of being illiterate and uneducated when it comes to films.
According to Filmfare, Vanga is now in talks with Salman Khan for his next project, which is said to be a dark action crime thriller. The report also claims that Vanga has expressed his desire to work with other big names in the industry, such as Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi and Shah Rukh Khan.
