Samsung is gearing up to introduce its new Galaxy F-series smartphone in India, the Galaxy F15 5G. The device will be unveiled on March 4 at 12 pm and will be streamed live on Samsung’s social media platforms. The Galaxy F15 5G will also be available for purchase online via Flipkart.
The Galaxy F15 5G is confirmed to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, which will enable 5G connectivity and smooth performance. The phone will also come with a 6,000mAh battery and a Super Amoled display, which will offer a long-lasting and immersive viewing experience.
The phone will run on Android 14 out of the box and will receive four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security updates, as per Samsung’s announcement. This will ensure that the phone stays updated and secure for a long time.
The Galaxy F15 5G is expected to feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which will make the display fluid and responsive. The phone will also offer two color options: Lavender and Mint.
The phone will have two variants: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, which will provide ample storage and memory for the users. The storage can also be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone will have a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera will be a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy F15 5G is expected to be priced at Rs 13,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, according to multiple online reports. The phone will compete with other affordable 5G smartphones in the Indian market, such as the Realme Narzo 35 5G and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G.
