Telugu and Hindi cinema actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is ready to reclaim the spotlight after taking a break to focus on her health. The actress shared exciting news with fans on Instagram, announcing her return to acting alongside a unique new project: a health-oriented podcast launching next week.
In a heartfelt video, Samantha expressed her joy at getting back to work, humorously admitting she’s been “completely jobless” during her hiatus. But this downtime wasn’t idle; she’s been passionately working on a podcast with a friend that focuses on health. “It’s unexpected, but something I really love,” she shared, “and I hope you find it useful.”
Last July, Samantha bravely went public about her battle with Myositis, an autoimmune condition. She prioritized her well-being, seeking treatment in the US and embracing global travel. While taking care of herself, she completed filming commitments for the Indian chapter of the Russo Brothers’ “Citadel” series.
Before her break, Samantha wrapped up “Kushi,” her second collaboration with Vijay Devarakonda after their 2018 hit “Mahanati.” This film, released in September 2023, was warmly received by audiences.
Now, the actress gears up for exciting projects ahead. She’ll be seen in the Indian installment of “Citadel” alongside Varun Dhawan, and her international debut in “Chennai Stories.”
