‘Saksham Kanya Yojana’: Karma Foundation Gives Lifetime Scholarships to Over 100 Girls

| Updated: July 14, 2024 20:17

The Karma Foundation on Saturday marked the 4th edition of the ‘Saksham Kanya Yojana’, a transformative programme launched in 2021 by founders Chiranjiv Patel and Priyanshi Patel.

Prominent guests, including BK Shivani, IPS (retired) Kiran Bedi, BK Chandrika, and 93-year-old Ranjana Baa, attended the event. Over 100 girls were felicitated during the event, underscoring the programme’s positive impact and the Karma Foundation’s steadfast commitment to girls’ education across Gujarat.

The initiative aims to empower girls through lifelong education. Initially beginning with 40 girls on Patel’s 40th birthday, the programme has now extended support to 370 girls.

Gallops Group founder Tanuj Pugalia expressed heartfelt gratitude to supporters and reiterated his dedication to further expanding the initiative, ensuring even more girls benefit from this endeavour.

In 2023, Rajkumar Pugalia, Manju Pugalia, and Team Karma Foundation gave 64 girls lifetime education scholarships under the Saksham Kanya Yojana.

Karma Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through initiatives in education, health, and social welfare.
