Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 is one of the most popular bikes in the market. The brand is preparing to launch a new bobber bike based on it. The company has trademarked the name “Goan Classic 350”. It will be suitable for long rides. It could feature several new features. However, the design will be heavily inspired by the Classic 350.
The new Goan Classic will be powered by a 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, capable of generating 20.2 bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. It could be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The seat setup of the new Goan Classic will see a slight change. The test mule has been spotted with a rear pillion seat. The cosmetics setup of the bobber will also get an update. It could come with teal-colored tyre walls, which will remind you of the old vintage Royal Enfield motorcycles. The suspension and braking setup will be the same as the Classic 350. It could get 41mm telescopic front forks with 130mm travel. The rear part could get twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable preload. Dual-channel ABS is likely to be offered.
Typically, bobber bikes come with a long wheelbase, but its wheelbase will be mild.
The Goan Classic 350 is expected to be launched in India in early 2024. The price is expected to be around ₹2.5 lakh. The Goan Classic 350 will compete with the likes of Jawa Perak, Benelli Imperiale 400, and Bajaj Dominar 400. The Goan Classic 350 is a promising new entrant in the Indian market. It looks to be a stylish and comfortable motorcycle that will appeal to a wide range of riders.
