The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which was launched in 2023 at an attractive price of Rs 2.69 lakh, ex-showroom, has received a price hike from this year. The adventure motorcycle now costs Rs 2.85 lakh, ex-showroom, across the country. The price hike does not bring any changes to the features or hardware of the bike, which competes with the KTM 390 Adventure in the segment.
The on-road prices of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Base variant vary depending on the city. The bike is the cheapest in Ahmedabad, where it costs Rs 3.23 lakh, on-road, and the most expensive in Bengaluru, where it costs Rs 3.77 lakh, on-road. The other cities where the bike is available are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur and Lucknow.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is powered by a 450cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 40bhp and 40Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that features a slipper and assist clutch for smooth shifts. The bike weighs 196kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 18 litres. The bike also comes with a host of features, such as a circular colour TFT screen with Google Maps and Bluetooth connectivity, switchable ABS, full-LED lighting and ride-by-wire throttle.
