Amid a war of words going on between Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and his father, with the latter levelling serious allegations against him and his wife Rivaba, a media query regarding this posed to the cricketer’s wife has not gone down well with her.
Jadeja’s father Anirudh Jadeja has said that after marriage, Jadeja’s wife had separated him from the family.
Rivaba’s reaction to the accusations of father-in-law Anirudh Jadeja has now come to light and the video is going viral. Rivaba, also a BJP MLA, was recently seen at a public event. At this time, when a reporter questioned her about her father-in-law’s allegations, Rivaba’s face turned red. She hit back at the reporter saying, “If you want to ask questions about this, contact me directly.”
In the viral video, Rivaba is heard saying, “Why are you coming here and asking me this question? Please contact me directly if you want to discuss this. Do not ask this kind of question in public. You can meet us personally and talk.”
Recently Ravindra Jadeja’s father alleged in an interview that he no longer talked to Ravindra Jadeja and Rivaba. He said he lived on just Rs 20,000 a month from the pension of his late wife, residing alone in a 2 BHK flat. “The 2 BHK flat I have still has a separate room for Ravindra, which I have decorated with his memories,” he said.
Anirudh Jadeja had said that it would have been better if he had not made Ravindra a cricketer. It would have been better if he had not been married to Rivaba. “After marriage Ravindra seems to have forgotten us,” he said.
“Within three months of the marriage, she told me that everything should be transferred to her name. She created a rift in our family,” Anirudh Jadeja had said about Rivaba.
However, immediately after the senior Jadeja’s interview went viral, Ravindra Jadeja responded on social media that everything his father said in the interview was false and meaningless. “I also have a lot to say,” he said.
