Ranveer Singh recently made his Netflix debut and got a taste of the wild alongside Bear Grylls for ‘Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls’, India’s first interactive adventure reality special.
The actor went on a fascinating date with nature, learning how to survive while stumbling through the harsh Serbian forests in search of a rare flower for his lady love. Here are some significant moments from his trip across the wilderness.
When his undies saved the day
Bear Grylls needed a piece of fabric to start a fire, so he asked Ranveer to remove his underwear. With much hesitance and laughter, Ranveer had to give it up and enjoyed the amusement and torture with Bear.
Snakes and dark caves
When the actor had to pass through a creepy cave, he screamed when he noticed a bunch of snakes waiting for them. They had a small, dark cave, a terrified Ranveer, an inspiring Bear Grylls, and some chants to Lord Shiva.
Wolves dance
To steal their prey (a dead boar), the three men—Ranveer, Bear, and Karan Kapadia—had to divert a pack of wolves. Quirky Ranveer began dancing and jumping to divert their attention.
Devouring testicles
Ranveer and others were observed eating maggots and boar testicles to stay energised. It seemed that their only option was to survive like this!
Lyrical zipline
While using a zipline to traverse two cliffs, slowly Ranveer started to sing, “Tanga hua tera bhai, Bear Kar raha hai ghai, neeche bahut bahut gehra khai, ek galat kadam aur Ranveer bye-bye. Phool ke liye karna hai try, “he recites.
A few cuddles
Ranveer and Bear sleep after a long day of hiking, jogging, and surviving, but our Bollywood beloved needed a cuddle. “Just one small detail. I need to cuddle,” Singh says. “Bring the wolves in”, Grylls responds.
Love for Deepika Padukone
Ranveer discusses his first encounter with Deepika Padukone. “It was love at first spectacular sight.” He was captivated by her beauty the first time he saw her when she swept into the room in all white with her hair blowing in the breeze.
Greetings with kisses
Excited, the actor repeatedly kissed a somewhat unamused Bear Grylls on the cheeks, giving him his fair share of adventures.
Joyous tears!
Ranveer’s goal in going to the Serbian Jungles was to bring Deepika the rare Serbica Ramonda flower. Finally, we watched an emotional Ranveer crying after finding the flower.

When it was time to head back, the overexcited actor pulled out his mirror and gave Grylls a victory kiss!
