Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s new bungalow will be in their daughter Raha’s name. Ranbir Kapoor loves his daughter deeply and wants to give her the bungalow as a gift, sources say. Neetu Kapoor will reportedly be the co-owner of the bungalow.
Ranbir, Alia and Neetu Kapoor were seen together recently at their under-construction bungalow located in Bandra. Ranbir’s gift makes Raha the youngest and richest star kid in Bollywood.
Apparently, Ranbir and Alia are both investing in the property. Already, Alia and Ranbir own four flats in Bandra worth more than Rs 60 crore.
Costlier than ‘Mannat’
The bungalow cost Ranbir Rs 250 crore, and is now the most expensive celebrity bungalow in Mumbai beating Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Mannat’ and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jalsa’.
Such gifts from relatives are tax-exempt at the point of receipt in India, but future income or gains from these assets incur taxes, according to sources.
After the bungalow is ready, the entire Kapoor family – including Neetu – are likely to stay together. Alia and Ranbir currently live with Raha at ‘Vastu’.
Doting father
Meanwhile, the Kapoor family will be featured in the first episode of Kapil Sharma’s new show titled ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ to be aired on March 30.
In the promotional video, the newest father in B-town, Ranbir Kapoor’s expression said it all when he spoke about Raha. Talking about her son Ranbir as the doting father, Neetu Kapoor said, “Whenever Raha enters the room, you should see his face, it’s full of expressions. He is very excited. I have to tell you that I have seen many fathers but I haven’t seen anyone like him. She keeps looking for him and loves to play with her dad.”
When asked if he’s had experience in changing diapers, Ranbir was quick to add that he’s the burp specialist. He goes on to tell Kapil in the video, “I can’t wait to bring her on your show sir.”
