Rajkot Woman Loots Jewellery Worth Rs.1.5 Crore From TBZ Home Delivery Salesman After Choosing Via Video Call, Caught

A regular client having a relationship with the prestigious jewellery showroom TBZ jewellers for seven years tried to loot them by using an ingenious technic.

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri group is a well-known goldsmith company having showrooms across the country. They often indulge their wealthy clients by providing service at the doorstep by bringing the wares to the clients’ premises.

In an incident that fractures the trust between client and seller, in such delicate deals, a woman customer in Rajkot tried to loot the ornaments worth Rs. 1.50 crores from the TBZ Jewellers salesman who had come to her place with the ornaments to choose from.

Beautifully crafted traditional Indian gold jewellery for women. The ornaments are known as bangles worn to hands and made up of 22 carat gold.

Bilkishbanu, the accused and her father grabbed the ornament box containing the gold jewelry worth Rs.1.50 crores from the TBZ showroom salesman Vishalbhai and ran away in a car. She had chosen the jewelry through video call and asked the person to deliver the same at home.

The police however intercepted the accused and caught hold of all the jewelry looted. Bilkishbanu has confessed that she was in dire need of money to help her husband Yakub Motani, currently in jail on the charges of murder. It is one of the first crime of such kind.
