Every challenge presents an opportunity, and a Rajkot boy did just that as the Covid-19 outbreak continued to spread. Raahish Kalaria, 25, who noticed that his start-up was struggling at Covid, used the experience to adjust his strategy and create a product that is today a resounding success.
Raahish, a graduate of Rajkot’s SNK School, joined forces with his college classmate Aneesh to launch a firm in the US while still in his second year. The startup made it possible for businesses to use student-written social media posts to convey their messages. But after Covid, the company’s clientele shrank. When other businesses contacted the pair to obtain surveys for Covid-related work because their startup had a reach of over 60,000 students, the two suddenly had an entirely new idea.
This, as per Raahish, inspired them to consider a high-tech platform that provided research utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist businesses in gathering real customer feedback through video on Tik-Tok and Snapchat.
In January 2021, while Covid was still active, the pair swiftly introduced Knit, a platform enabling brands to carry out high-quality, automated research quickly and at scale.
Raanish said, “Through AI we help analyse factors like sentiments, emotions, ethnicity and voice tones to get authentic information. We have also created an affiliation of over 5 million responders of varied demographics, age and social backgrounds who are ready to respond anytime.”
