The Rajasthan government has sanctioned Rs 1,745.73 crore for the development, improvement, and reinforcement of rural roads and bridges, said the official statement.
It stated that a proposal to this effect has been approved by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
The project will cover 35 bridges and 266 roadways, in total. Up to 301 projects will be carried out, totaling 2,369 km of rural roads and 3,369 metre of bridges.
The Public Works Department will handle the project.
