Gujarat police has unearthed Surat connection in Raj Kundra pornography case. Police has arrested a Tanvir Hashmi of Saiyedpur in the same pornography case. Tanvir is accused of making porn films and selling it to Raj Kundra for hefty amounts.
While investigating the highprofile pornography controvery case in Mumbai, the police found trails of this case leading them to Surat and on recieving information from the mumbai Police, Surat city Crime Branch single handedly nabbed Tanvir Akil Hashmi, a resident of Sayyedpur in Surat.
According to the expert sources of the crime branch , last year, a big racket where porn films were being made under the pretext of web series came to light and Tanvir Hashmi was first nabbed by the police with his involvement in this racket. during interrogation, it was revealed that this pornography film making racket did have some connection to the Raj Kundra case. The Police is said to believe that Tanvir has sold these pornographic films to Raj Kundra for a fat sum.
It is quite possible that these financial transactions may soon point out to some “Hawala Trading” and the inquiry in the same direction could also happen very soon but the police are not yet ready to spill the beans.
This isn’t the first time that Surat and Bad books of Bollywood have found connection. Earlier too, many film stars have been identified in the Salaabatpura Area of Surat as Cricketing Bookies. And the same can be said about Shilpa Shetty too. Umra Police station has a record of a complaint filed against Shilpa’s mother Sunanda Shetty. The present Raj Kundra case gets only interesting from here with its surat connection being revealed.
Surat, which has been famous otherwise, has also been infamous for a few reasons. One of them being the 2003 extortion case. An extortion case by the Praful Saree Owner and its alleged connection with the underworld brought Surat into the limelight. According to the police complaint, owner of Praful Sarees Pankaj Agarwal and Shilpa Shetty had a modelling contract between them and to recover the contract money, Shilpa’s mother Sunanda has approached gangster Fazlu Rahman for extortion and alleged crime.
Surat and controversy surrounding Shilpa Shetty’s family have always romanced each other. Earlier it was the Bollywood actress’ mother Sunanda Shetty, who was alleged in some conspiracy for extortion with a police FIR filed against her.
