A number of Gujarat-bound trains have been cancelled due to ongoing work of doubling of tracks in Ahmedabad, officials of the North Western Railway informed on Wednesday.
The railway tracks between Deodar-Mitha-Bhabhar-Devgam-Radhanpur stations of the Palanpur-Samakhali railway section of the Ahmedabad division are being doubled. Movement of trains on this route will be affected due to the construction work, officials said.
Passengers travelling by these trains should get accurate information from inquiry numbers before embarking on their journey.
The trains that will remain cancelled are:
Train No. 22483, Jodhpur-Gandhidham, will be cancelled on 4th April 2022 and 6th April 2022 (02 trips).
Train No. 22484, Gandhidham-Jodhpur, will be cancelled on 5th April 2022 and 07th April 2022 (02 trips).
The Trains that have been diverted are:
Train No. 14321, Bareilly-Bhuj Ala Hazrat Express, will leave Bareilly on 4th April 2022 and 6th April 2022, will be operated via Palanpur, Mehsana, Dhagendra, Samakhyali.
Train No. 14322, Bhuj – Bareilly Ala Hazrat Express, will leave Bhuj on 4th April 2022 and 7th April 2022, will be operated via Samakhali, Dhagendra, Mehsana, Palanpur.
In another development, the Western Railway has permanently added additional coaches in 21 pairs of trains. A Summer Special train at special fares will operate between Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus and Barmer in Rajasthan.
Western Railway has announced plans to run a weekly AC superfast special train between Pune and Jaipur via Mumbai to meet the increased passenger demands during the summer vacation.
