Pravin Togadia, President of International Hindu Parishad, stated that there is a strong need to put the “two children” policy into action across the country to ensure the history, of the Kashmiri Pandits, will not be repeated. Togadia also added that it is almost time to put this policy in implementation or else 30 years down the lane there would be a need to make the files of the entire country… the Bharuch files, Vadodara Files, Bharat Files, and the list goes on.
Togadia also claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to promote the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ but has not been successful in rehabilitating the Kashmiri Pandits.
Around four lakh Hindus were targeted and forced out of their homes from Kashmir but this is only 50% of the truth, there is also another approach to the story. Out of the 30 years since the Kashmir incidents, the Congress government was only active for 15 years while the remaining 30 years saw the Bharatiya Janata Party rule– previously by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and later by Narendra Modi. Why haven’t any of them successfully rehabilitated Hindus in their homes in Kashmir? He adds as he addressed the media.
