Ever since AAP swept the Punjab polls, the state AAP unit has been planning a tiranga yatra in Ahmedabad. However, the party leaders claim that not only is the police refusing the same, every attempt to celebrate is being muted by “police high-handedness and force.”

“About 35 of us went to the Limbayat police station late Sunday night to sort out the matter. Not only did they intimidate us, the police took to brutal force to drive us away. Seems like they are working as security guards for the BJP,” stated Opposition leader Dharmesh Bhanderi.
