Ahmedabad Police claimed a protest erupted near Ahmedabad’s Mirzapur area after Friday prayers, calling for the arrest of suspended BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma over her controversial statements about Prophet Mohammed.
In ‘Teen Darwaza” area of the city, people of the minority community observed bandh to protest against Former BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Navin Jindal’s statements.
