Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are venturing into new territories as they gear up to produce two new shows for Netflix. The announcement was made by the streaming giant recently, adding another feather to the couple’s cap.
The projects are a part of an ongoing collaboration with Archewell Productions, a company established by the couple in 2020. This followed their decision to step down as senior members of the British royal family and relocate to the United States.
The first series, under the watchful eye of Meghan as an executive producer, will delve into the realms of cooking, gardening, entertainment, and friendship. The second series promises to offer viewers an exclusive look into the US Open Polo Championship in Florida, focusing on the intense competition and the vibrant social scene of the polo industry. The royal couple will don the hats of executive producers for this show as well.
Both series are currently in the early stages of production, with Netflix set to announce the titles and release dates in due course. This news comes on the heels of Meghan’s return to Instagram, where she appears to be kick-starting a new venture, the American Riviera Orchard.
Prior to her royal wedding, Meghan was renowned for her portrayal of Rachel Zane in the USA drama ‘Suits’, a role she bid adieu to in 2018. The show has witnessed a revival in popularity since its arrival on Netflix, a phenomenon Meghan has described as ‘wild’. As the couple embarks on this new journey, fans eagerly await the unique content they are set to bring to the screen.
