As elections come closer, the campaign of AAP spreads at a fast rate. The AAP government has certain promises it intends to deliver and is promoting the same.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has promised that if the AAP government comes to power in Gujarat, it will give a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 to all women above the age of 18 years.
AAP leaders are calling this promise, Arvind Kejriwal’s big gift to his sisters before RakshaBandhan. Kejriwal commented upon how the scheme would benefit women. He said that women who want to complete education will now be able to do so by paying the transport or college fees. He also said sisters or mothers will be able to bring good fruits and vegetables for their children. He says he feels this is a doable way to tackle malnutrition as inflation is spiralling, though their salaries are not.
Though BJP has been ruling Gujarat for 27 years now, AAP has designed a strategy to defeat the BJP and may succeed this time.
So, this election besides BJP and the Congress, AAP is also making efforts to win the hearts of the people through its electoral guarantee.
Before this, Arvind Kejriwa had also made announcements that he will provide 300 units of free electricity and Rs 3,000 to every unemployed youth in the country.
He also guaranteed more than 10 lakh government jobs to the youth. Other than that, the party also guarantees to give certificates to tribals.
Arvind Kejriwal has also considered the plight of police employees who have been eagerly waiting for a rise in pay in Gujarat for a long time. Kejriwal also shared how a policeman’s daughter had written a letter to him complaining about her father’s problems. He said that police personnel of Gujarat receive the lowest salary in the entire country. He found this information really shocking and he said he empathises with their condition.
