Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat to inaugurate the School of Excellence project. The School of Excellence project will be inaugurated from the Mahatma Mandir. PM Modi will gift School of Excellence to Gujarat on Teacher’s Day on September 5.
According to sources, Modi might also visit the Command and Control Department of the Education Department. As part of the first phase, Rs 8,000 crore will be spent on the project. This will also include the up-gradation of 20 thousand primary schools in the state.
In the first phase, four schools per taluka will be included in the School of Excellence. In the first 1000 days, 10 thousand schools will be prepared as School of Excellence. In the next 500 days, 10 thousand schools will be prepared as School of Excellence.
